I like the concept but it takes so long (about 1/2hr) to dry my long haired chihuahua about 95%. Other than that it's a great idea for dogs afraid of the hair dryer.
I have a chihuahua who thinks the blow dryer is out to kill him. He runs around the room and hides and I’ve tried to just shoot the warm air at him from a distance so he can dry a little bit. I saw this and thought it might help, and I was impressed. It’s definitely not perfect, I had to hold him because whenever he tried to get away his paws would come out of the holes and a leg broke free twice. It was a two person job, one to hold him & one to operate the blow dryer. That being said, he dried in about 5 min and I’m really happy I bought it.
I always procrastinate baths because my poodle hates the hair dryer and I hate fighting her. This was so easy to use, efficient, and comfortable for both of us! We keep her hair short, so her torso was completely dry in less than five minutes - I timed it. I alternated between the cold and medium settings, and kept sticking my hand inside to feel her. As she got dryer I started loosening the drawstrings and letting more air flow out through the tail and neck. And I could set the hair dryer down on the counter while I brushed her tail and legs. At first I thought it was a bit expensive for a fancy hair cap, but if it holds up it’s completely worth it!My dog is 10 pounds and the XS fits perfectly. Snug around the legs but not tight.
Very easy to dry big dog after washing him.
I’m not too crazy about this product. It dries the back, but I would not recommend for dogs with thick leg hair like my cocker spaniel. Since the legs stick out of the holes, they remain wet.
